Couple's Counseling

Couple's Counseling helps people in of all types of intimate relationships to recognize and resolve conflicts, develop effective and healthy communication, and improve relationships. Through couple's counseling, you can make learn to make thoughtful decisions about improving or rebuilding your relationship or going your separate ways in a healthy manner.

Some couples seek counseling to strengthen their bonds and gain a better understanding of each other. Counseling can also help couples who plan to get married, or live together, to achieve a deeper understanding of each other and iron out differences before commitment.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a type of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time, each of whom shares common goals and challenges. Working in a group provides many advantages:

  • Group therapy allows people to receive the support and encouragement of their peers. People participating in a group are able to see that there are other people going through the same thing which can help them feel less alone.
  • Group members can serve as role models to other members of the group. By seeing someone who is successfully coping with a problem, other members of the group can see that there is hope and recovery is possible.
  • Group therapy offers a safe haven. This setting allows people to practice behaviors and actions within the safety and security of the group.
